George Dallas Mosee was inducted as a Fellowman of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Incorporated in the Fall of 1974 on “The Funkadelic Four” at Lincoln University (Pennsylvania) and served as Groove Phi Groove Chapter President for the Mighty Lion in 1976-77.
He has been the Deputy District Attorney in charge of the Juvenile Division of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office since October 2002. The Juvenile Division includes the Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Program, Juvenile Prosecution Unit, Habitual Offender Unit, Child Support Unit and Youth Aid Panels. Deputy Mosee joined the Office in 1988 and served in various units including Motions, Major Trials, Federal Alternatives to State Trials as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, Asset Forfeiture as Chief and the Dangerous Drug Offender Unit as Chief. From 1995 to 2002 Mr. Mosee was the Deputy District Attorney in charge of the Narcotics Division.

Juvenile Court Procedural Rules Committee as Chair (Term ended 2/12); Board of Directors, Calvary’s New Breed, Inc.; Board of Directors Philadelphia Anti-Drug/Anti-Violence Network; Board of Directors, Mothers United Through Tragedy, Inc.; PCCD Philadelphia Disproportionate Minority Contacts Working Group, PCCD Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Committee, Mayor’s Drug and Alcohol Commission, American Bar Association Task Force on Juvenile Justice Standards, Philadelphia Bar Association Legal Rights of Children Committee as Co-Chair, Interbranch Commission on Juvenile Justice (Commission work ended 6/10) and Interstate Compact for Juveniles State Council
Before joining the District Attorney’s Office, he was the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Carolyn Engel Temin, Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
Deputy Mosee is a 1973 graduate of Philadelphia’s Central High School. He received a B.A. in 1977 and Masters Degree in 1981 from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and a J.D. in 1986 from Temple University School of Law.
